Hi!
I've looked around on forum for sollutions. None worked for me. So here's the problem. When loading puppy I have possibility to set Slovene keyboard. Now, it actually changes from qwerty to qwertz, but no specific slovene characters appear (similar to czech or slovak - but their keyboard has different configuration...). Suggestions welcome, since I like the effectiveness of the Puppy.

Puppy is designed for the English language. yes we have some keyboard support and some users occasionally say they will translate but it is a daunting task.
I feel Puppy would go down well in Japan if anyone was willing to translate and a Chinese Pup would be fun.
However realistically this sort of support has to come from the end users. The only way we could get this sort of universal languaging is by having a model such as Ubuntu uses (native language support from Mongolian to Apache and Welsh to Urdu and so on)

If you wish to develop this area then I feel perhaps it is a question of mobilising the Puppys who are interested in German, Spanish, French or Portugese support and seeing if their is some way of creating an answer that would support a wider set of keyboards . . .
