I was looking for something a little more advanced than gtkcat and this is all I could find that isn't dependant on gnome, kde, or python. http://www.gwhere.org/home.php3?idLanguage=en

Thanks, plinej. Maybe this will turn out to be the cataloging tool I've been searching for, for my library of mp3 audio books.
