Just upgraded to puppy-2.12-seamonkey-zdrv, and to my very pleasant surprise, everything now seems to work on my Averatec 3250H1-01 laptop, including booting off the flash drive (configured as the USB RMD-FDD device in the BIOS setup) and wireless (using the rt2500 driver).
