I've been wondering about a couple things
the new seamonkey project is one, I prefer mozilla to firefox for manyreasons
so will puppy stay with mozilla till needed to change, and if that change comes will seamonkey be an option or firefox or maybe even Konqueror???
Another being window manager I think icewm is more preferred than fvwm95
there are two other options, XPDE, very pro like,http://www.xpde.com/ or
use equinox, very mediumish, http://ede.sf.net ,
And Lastly, will puppy be more slack-compatible let's face it a lot of people
know the bare basics and want to keep it that way they want to be able to fatten puppy, although I know that puppy is supposed to be small
maybe the pro's can make puppy more mainstream if they find it in there
little puppy hearts
Can I run Konqueror without running KDE?
Yes. Just install Qt, kdelibs and kdebase, and from your favourite window manager, just launch Konqueror. It should work just fine, but if it doesn't (KDE developers don't test that case often), report it to http://bugs.kde.org and try running "kdeinit" before running Konqueror, it usually helps.
This is of course the same for any other KDE application.
Also Koffice weighs in less than OO which would make nice for
puppians
These are my thoughts and wonders
thank you and tune in next week for more
