To print a pdf document, click on the file in the rox file manager. That will open the pdf in GSview. Then File -> Print in the menu - that will give you an image similar to the one I have attached. Make sure 'PostScript Printer' is selected. Just click 'Ok' to print your document.

(You can ignore the settings for 'Device', 'Fixed Page Size' and 'Resolution')

CUPS was installed but?

#4 Post by vanchutr »

Dear pakt,
I'd followed yours instructions but:
1. gs send to printer a dirty page (no thing on it)
2. I re-install the cups-install-v.03.pup. This time I print a test page, this is succesfull. But when I reboot my puppy 2.12 and re-print a test page in CUPS (web page), I got nothing?
What's errors?
Thank you.

vanchutr, what are the contents of /etc/rc.d/rc.local ?

Also which printer are you using?

How is it connected to your PC?
