USR_DEVX.SFS for latest Puppy 2.12

#1 Post by NickBiker »

Hi

I am having difficulty locating the devx file for the latest 2.12 release. I have tried all the links on the main download page and cannot find a suitable file?

Is the 2.10 devx.sfs suitable or is there a new one?

I am finding it quite difficult keeping up with so many new versions of Puppy, where I have to re-compile drivers etc each time!

Thanks for help.
Nick

Hi Thanks - downloading now!

Another question - is there a compiled version of the videodev.ko module for this 2.12 version?

ok - thanks!
On the use_devx.sfs, it is now called devx_212.sfs, I have put this into "" and re-booted, but the system does not seem to link to it, have things changed?

Not that I know of. If you have a full-hd install, it goes in /. Otherwise it goes in /mnt/home/.
