I wanted to be able to boot Puppy Linux from USB, as well as
being able to boot the same version (especially the user data
in pup100) in QEMU: Sometimes you have an idle machine at hand,
sometimes you're stuck to Windows...
So I patched /etc/rc.d/rc.syslinux and created AllInOneQEMU,
put it on a USB memory stick and documented the results on my
site [1].
My goal is to have this patch (or a better one...) in a future
version of Puppy Linux.
Please, have a look at the site and the patch, give it a shot
and let me know the results...
Thanks.
