Can't start mgetty from inittab

#1 Post by friks »

Hi! I'm using puppy 1.0.3, and i want to start mgetty with /etc/inittab. I put this at the end of inittab,

g1:2345:respawn:/sbin/mgetty -D /dev/ttyS0

But nothing start ( if i type /sbin/mgetty -D /dev/ttyS0 from the shell, it works well)

Any ideas?
