I made the mistake of installing an opera package. (7.54) It seemed alright for a bit.

But then it just.. took over my system

When I try to open mozilla, it opens opera. I used to be able to get mozilla open after a few tries, but now it is pretty hopeless.

When I am in GAIM and click on a link, it opens it in opera even though I set it to open in mozilla. It takes ages to open and stops me from using GAIM while it is donig that (it goes white) then if the page has certain values, it will delete them or add unnessescary things onto the end, and the page won't open. Sometimes GAIM won't work again until I close the browser window.

Nor can I change the veiw in Gmail, so I can't use the invite box.

I did remove the package. It said it was gone. Then I restarted. It still says it is gone.. but guess what?

It isn't, and I am having the same problems.

Please help

(I can't remember what version of puppy I am using, but it is pretty buggy. One other problem is the start bar.. it freezes and completely greys out every so often, and I have to go back to the desktop and reselect the option. I guess this should be in bugs, but I am already making a post. )
