HP PSC 1210 Driver File can it be copied into Puppy
Hello everyone,
My Father has an HP PSC 1210 Printer / Scanner / Copier 3 in 1 printer.
As I am trying to get him using Puppy, he always complains that Puppy is of no use to him unless it can print.
As the PSC 1210 printer driver isn't included in Puppy 2.10 or the new updated Puppy 2.13 I went to HP and downloaded the hplip-1.6.12 tar.gz driver package and unzipped it.
I found the driver and unzipped it into a new folder.
My question is there any way I could paste it into Puppy's printing Package so I can chose that driver from the list.
The driver ends in .ppd format _________________ Legacy OS 2 Released! Install me on a new! EXT2 Partition with 500Mb of swap and I'll be happy.

I've used this Cups Dotpup to get my Printer working in Puppy.
While it's an excellent Package its only drawback is the requirement for a internet connection. (My father doesn't have one)
If you have the driver can you use this package without the need to connect to the net.
If not can the Driver be pasted into the correct folder and if yes which folder is it. _________________ Legacy OS 2 Released! Install me on a new! EXT2 Partition with 500Mb of swap and I'll be happy.
