Hi,
I'm user of various Windows operating systems for about 10 years, but my arms always were opened for other operating systems, including free Linux and BSD. However, I have never found a Linux distro which would meet my requirements, such as being tiny, graphical and easy to configure and adding software. Till now, because I found Puppy Linux!
Despite of my fascination, the installation, configuration and installing new software would be easier and faster, if I had documentation: a) all in one place, b) in my native language.
With your help I have learnt much, and I'm to learn much more. With my knowledge, I want a) help those, who speak polish only, b) promote Puppy Linux. So I'm interesteed in making various articles about Puppy Linux, of course in polish.
In order to that, however, I need my polish accent marks working! So, help me, if you want me help others.
Thank you in advance.
Polish how-to install and configure Puppy Linux
Alright, so here's the news: I changed ugly Xvesa to Xorg, and... Mogę zażółcić gęślą jaźń ;) GUI is faster and I can write letters with polish accent marks. Not everywhere, e.g. I can't do it in putty, but in text editors - yes. That makes me able to write polish how-tos, and I'm going to start doing it at this week. And don't worry, when writing polish I don't make such stupid mistakes when writing english... ;)
