When booting, the contents of pup100 is copied to /root.
rc.sysinit checks if the filesystem on which /root resides has
enough space to do this. When shutting down, the contents of
/root is copied back to pup100. But now, no check is done on
available space.

Tricky?...

Quite right, an oversight, but maybe tricky to know how to handle it.
