gnumeric sorting of korean hanguls

I have heard that excel is able to do sorting of korean hanguls. I have experimented a bit on gnumeric but to no avail.
anyone knows what sorting rules follow for UTF-8 characters (especially pertaining to E. Asian written scripts)?
