Would this mostly be of interest to developers looking for something like Directx? In other words a common interface that gives increased graphic processing for games and other intense video usage?
Trying to understand who needs or uses this? (I don't even understand from their website what it is . . .)

some programs need certain library files to work
someone on the forum asked for this
i had it installed already (some program i installed must have needed it) ... so i made a dotpup installer
i thought dotpups might be a quick and simple way to install library files that a program might need

Ah . . . now I gets it . . .
:)

There was a similar dotpup library required for inkscape - which I downloaded.
There is now a dotpup for inkscape (this is a great structured drawing package) - very much more intuitive than sodipodi from which it is a development.

I am assuming that Inkscape now includes all that it requires in the one dotpup?

Sodipodi is small but that interface needs redesigning. If you want to have some fun designing a Puppy Logo, then use Inkscape. Similar to Corel Draw and Corel Xara.

I have been hankering after this program for ages and am very pleased that G2 created a dotpup so we can use it in Puppy.
