Hi all,
First I'll say WOW what a great product!
The live-cd version was up and running in about 10 minutes, including internet access. Great!
I had a lot of trouble getting the boot-from-USB working, but finally after manually running syslinux 3.08 both my test drives booted fine from my company-provided Dell laptop.
However, my goal is to have something I can run on (almost) any computer. So, I have been trying to do the thing where you boot-strap from the floppy and then load the rest of the way from the USB.
No luck! I've tried both the original boot2pup image, and the wakepup image, and both fail the same way: 'target USB device not found'
This is the same thus far on three different computers.
Any specific suggestions?
BTW, the two test drives are a Memorex 128MB and Apacer 256MB. Again, both are now bootable from the only computer I have with a boot-from-USB option in the BIOS.
PS In case it isn't already obvious, I am SOOOO much a newbie in Linux.
