Subject description: Helping to reduce energy use

Hi Chaps,

I use Puppy simply because it works, is simple and runs fast. I have used 2.12 on many low end pc's without problems, same as on the high end machines. With the coming of Vista ( Very Happy ) I understand a lot of people will be updating their machines to run it and that is what got me thinking.
If we can run our Puppy OS on low end machines, then think of the energy we are saving, also the piles of old, now redundant machines we are not contributing too.
It must follow therefore that Puppy must be good for the enviroment and therefore we are helping to save the planet.
Could this green aspect be a good promotional point for Puppy, because, lets face it, we cannot keep increasing our energy use, nor increasing our waste.
Anyway, it is just a thought and Puppy has served me well since the 1.07 version. Thanks lads, you have done something really good with this OS.

Stay Lucky Folks
Seadog
