How do I turn off ROX-Desktop? (Solved)

Hey, I'm trying to turn the rox desktop completely off, and just run fluxbox. I have a type 2 hard drive install.

In other disto's, I've had a hard time turning ROX on at boot, but figured out that I could put the command

Code: Select all

rox -p desktop[code]
under "root command" in /.fluxbox/init to get it to start at boot-up.

However, the command to start Rox in puppy isn't located in the fluxbox init, which isn't surprising, as it's on by default no matter which desktop I choose.

Am I even close to think that the command that starts Rox Desktop is located somewhere in the /root/.etc/rc.d/ files?

I would deeply appreciate any help here, don't know exactly what I'm looking for.
 :D

Cheers

the desktop pinboard is started in /root/.xinitrc (hidden file)

rox -op /root/Choices/ROX-Filer/PuppyPin

you can comment the line by putting a # at the beginning of the line
or you can delete the line

you can kill the rox desktop anytime with the command
rox -p=
