How do I change global font color in 213?

#1 Post by KJ »

Hi Folks,

I need to change the global font color in Puppy 2.13. I had cataract surgery that didn't go as planned recently and now need to use a lower contrast setting where the background is dark with light letters (black and gold/yellow works well). How do I set up global font color to a color (gold) other than black?

Thanks,
KJ

like this, maybe:

or this:

maybe someone could make a high visibility theme for Icewm ... maybe there already are high visibility themes for Icewm

i made a few large font themes for my Icewm package

i think you would need to configure each program separately ... the desktop is configured in Rox options ... Icewm would be configured with the Icewm config files ... Abiword can have the default colours and fonts configured .. etc etc

maybe there are high visibility gtk themes?

Guestoo ... Thanks for the fast response. Guess I was hoping for a script location where I could change the global font color in one easy step.

I have already set font color and background color in several apps ... have changed to Netsyndrome-ICE for an Icewm theme and am running Raliegh as a Gtk theme. That takes care of most of my contrast problems. I would prefer to run Gtk Black theme but I can't see all the screen info in some high use apps such as Rox.

The menu jpg looks promising .... (http://i18.tinypic.com/2n6x47b.jpg)
Where can I download it?

Thanks again,
KJ
