Reminder for Help requests

When you are posting a request for help remember these basic guidelines:

Search the main Puppy pages first.

Search the Puppy forums & Puppy Wiki.

If you cannot find a solution and have to post a query:

Start with a description of your machine including details, if possible, such as:

Make, model

Amount of RAM, size and partitions of hard drive, CPU type & speed and install operating systems ( What & where).

Next, your problem:

Include the problem, any error messages that might have appeared and the steps you performed before the problem occurred.

If this all sounds too much for you, try to provide as much detail as you can because remember:

The people who will try to help you require as much information as possible to try to analyse the problem and formulate a solution, if possible.

They do not possess the power of ESP ( well some don't ) and they cannot see what you are doing on your machine so they rely on you to provide as much information as possible.
