Subject description: Puppy 2.14 install to a hard drive question.

I have been without Puppy since I made my wireless network secure afew weeks ago. Tonight I was going to work on downloading programs to log into a secure network and find Puppy 2.14 seems to have it already. Just boot it up from a live cd and install to my flash drive and I got it back. It boots up so quick too and looks so good and runs so fast I want to put it onto my external hard drive just to have as a back up in case i lose my flash drive.

Last time I tried installing to a hard drive I couldn't get that to work. I read that Puppy won't boot from large Flash drives cause file clusters are too large. Will it boot up if I create a real small partition like 1 gb and try install it there? Can I download files through Puppy and store them on my external Harddrive that runs Kubuntu.
