Personal Settings File Missing!

#1 Post by alamourus »

I've been enjoyed using Puppy Linux the last few days and finally decided to start saving settings in a file. Upon exiting, I saved to a Windows partition and rebooted. All settings were there.
Then I booted into Windows and couldn't see the settings files.
Curious, I decided to reboot into Puppy and it didn't load the settings files. Looking through the file manager, the files don't even exist anymore!

If it's pertinent, I had Windows XP in hibernation, and I had defragged as I went into Windows. Now there's a green block in the defrag display,.

Just wondering how to solve this and if anyone has encountered this before.

thanks,
al
