Pizzapup, and also Puppy 2.13 and 2.14, lacks all the drivers necessary to get the older sound cards running.
Solution: download Puppy 2.02 Opera, by John Murga.
Copy the folder /lib/modules to some place in your hard drive.
Now boot with Pizzapup (or 2.13 or 2.14).
Go to /lib/modules with Rox. (the house icon).
Rename "modules" folder to some name you likes e.g. "modulesOrig"
Copy the folder "modules" saved in the hard drive to /lib/
Reboot.
Run Alsa sound Wizard.
That's all.
Don't forget to SAVE this work when exit Puppy!.
