I have a computer with 192 MB of RAM. The /sbin/init (init_ORIG) script sees that it is less than 256 MB and sets the (maximum) tmpfs ramdisk size to 70 MB. I don't see why this shouldn't be 96 MB by default without special tweaking.

I probably wrote the script thinking that PCs would either have 128M or 256M, nothing in between!
