Hi,
Ok, due to my 3.5" to 2.5" adapter not showing up and having to wait ages for a new one, I would like to know if it is possible to get Puppy Linux to my hard drive using floppy disks? What I would like to know is :-
1) Best way to split Puppy Linux over the disks needed
2) My hard drive has 2 partitions C and D, both blank, what is the best partition to copy Puppy Linux onto it.
3) Ok this is probably about somewhere but once I have the files to whatever drive the best way to install it? Will it install from a DOS prompt?
Thanks guys(and girls)
Jon
Can Puppy be installed from floppies?
I ask the questions respectfully...
How technical are you?
To help out better do you have USB support on the machine you want to install Puppy to?
Do you have Puppy on a CD and do you have access to another machine? What can are your options to boot Puppy on the other machine?
Help us understand how we may tackle this little puzzle of a problem.
p.s. You will need about 100 floppies.
