Trackpad Problems

#1 Post by Jonj1611 »

Hi,

I installed Puppy to the hard drive of my laptop, its a pretty old system, a Fujitsu 765Tx, but it seems to be running Puppy ok, and I can connect to the net wirelessly.

However the trackpad is really messed up, just moving your finger 1mm on it, makes the mouse pointed go insane, pressing the left mouse button just the mouse up and to the right and a similar thing happens for the right mouse button.

However the USB mouse works perfectly, I am really really new to Linux and I am not entirely sure where to begin in sorting this problem out, does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks
Jon

i had a similar problem with my touch pad on my laptop and change the mouse setting and it seems fine now they are under menu-desktop-Gxset x settings .on mouse setting you can change the acceleration and threshold.

Hope this helps.
