Memory usage increases sharply after remaster CD

I have created a customized CD of about 140MB which includes some large fonts files and some additional programs with the official puppy 214.

The memory usage is pretty low if I use my primitive pup_save.2fs, about 60MB and 0MB swap.
But when I use the remastered CD and do practically the same thing, the memory usage is about 100-200MB + 100-200MB swap.

Is it true that the files I have added resided in the pup_save.2fs in the former case? And if that is the case, can I do the same for my remastered CD at the first time I create the pup_save.2fs
