I've almost got my wireless internet card configured, but I have a question.

I've configuring it manually, and it asks me to input something around the lines of "Nameserver IP Address for resolving DNS names to IP Addresses"

...

What the hell am I supposed to put there? Neutral

[Edit: I just realized bladehunter was logged on now, so he'll probably answer it via PM. Sorry for spam topic.]

It seems to me you are supposed to put the IP addresses of the DNS servers.

The question is, how do you get those addresses?. If you have Windows on the same Internet connection you can type at the Windows DOS shell.

ipconfig /all

This should display the address of the DNS servers along with lots of other information.

I'm using a hard wire connection with Puppy and I can get the IP addresses of the DNS servers by viewing /etc/resolve.conf

You ISP can tell you the addresses if you call them and ask.

Any DNS server should work, but I don't think you are supposed to just use other ISP's DNS servers.

You can use public DNS also to get up and running
