I have downloaded this (which has a hopefully useful way of resizing partitions)

http://visopsys.org/download/file-types.html

now I have formatted a floppy and got my .img ready

how do I use dd or cat (or preferably from a GUI prog) to place the image onto a floppy from Puppy?

Thanks guys - never even heard of this OS - seems like fun . . . hope it is similar to menuet (but does not look as developed)

Should be something like;

dd if=nameofimage.img of=/dev/fd0

Assuming the image is in the directory you are at.
