Puppy got sound to work

AST Acenia M Series 233mhz/64meg Ram/3.2 HD/CDrom/Ext Floopy/ Netgear FA511 using tulip driver- Working (sound not-working Crystal CS4237) Puppy make it run.

It is not clear (I appreciate that English may not be your first language) if Puppy has or has not made it work . . . ?

If not working follow Barrys advice in the next post

You could try the "cs" modules that are in Puppy, look in /lib/modules/2.6.11.7/sound/ and there are three different modules starting with letters "cs".
For example:

# modprobe cs4281

to confirm it loaded...

# lsmod

If it loads but doesn't work, probably best to unload it before trying the next:

# modprobe -r cs4281

Let us know if one works.
