hd installation should allow to keep existing filesystem

when using hd installation script, it always nukes existing filesystem and formats partition as ext2. i am currently putting together a machine for an environment where electricity might be somewhat unstable, so i would like to use ext3 to prevent at least some problems (of course, if it will turn out to be really unstable ups will be used :) ) - puppy bottdisk kernel supports ext3, so i could easily just install on it - but unfortunately there is no such choice in the script.

of course, i can add journal later, modify fstab and get my ext3 partition, but allowing to keep existing filesystem would be a lot esier :)
