Using .sfs files on multisession live DVD

#1 Post by Scoticus »

I have been experiencing dificulty in getting things to work in 2.15CE as I have been unable to access OOo 2.1 and have some problems with files not appearing where I thought they should.

Can anyone advise what I am doing wrong as I was under the impression that having added the .sfs alongside puppy_save.sfs that everything would work. Obviously not. Come to think of it I can't find mnt/home when looking for it on my DVD.

Looks very like I am well confused and in need of assistance

Thanking you in anticipation

Ian

I was with the same problem !

I could get it working by doing this:

1-renaming the openoffice sfs file to OO_215.sfs

2-opening puppy iso with isomaster iso editor and adding OO_215.sfs beside pup_215.sfs and saving the new iso

3-burning cd and booting first time --> Openoffice don't work

4- rebooting and saving modifications to cd

5-the next boot OO_215.sfs will be copied to ram and will work

Important:

you MUST have a swap partittion even you have 2 GB of ram, I dont know why
Sorry, broken english above :-)
