AMSN 0.97 has been released!

#1 Post by ecomoney »

Hi, I am still ashamedly unable to compile .pets! A new version of the amsn is out after almost a year, this is version 0.97. 0.97RC1 has been out a while and while it is pretty good, it has a few rough edges. I would really appreciate someone compiling 0.97 as it is one of the most popular apps in our cybercafe test centre.

If someone has the time, it would help promote puppy to the M$ crew if the default avatar in the package could be changed to include the fact that the person online is using puppy linux!

the website for amsn is here. thanx

Sorry, my server is down atm!

I made one for my children. I link it here. It doesn't give you a menu entry, because I modified it for my own odd menu structure. I can fix the menu thing later. If you want to try it, please remember that I'm no professional pet maker - really in very beginning. It works for me in 3.01.

I think it needs TclTk8.4-Tls-with-versionchooser.pup from MU:

Thanks,
I corrected it now. Right click and save should work. If don't please tell, I have had sometimes problems with permissions in my account.

I fixed the menu entry. And one other thing ... oh me, how absent-minded I can be. But now it should be OK.

It needs snack for sound. I have here snack 2.2.5:

Testing sound with my own machine worked. I have not tried it in practice.

Please have mercy on me.
