unresponsive scripts

#1 Post by freykatt »

I have been enjoying playing with puppy live CD for a while, but now on this old 233 mhz 160mb puutor I am getting a warning window popping up at will when I click on a link or another page which says unresponsive scripts. Not sure what this is but probably some of you will tell me where to go, woops, I mean, uh, what to do, huh.

If it's a web page saying that the scripts are unresponsive that means that the page was designed badly, and/or your computer runs the page too slowly.

So there's not really much you can do, you could disable javascript but that would disable the interactive elements of those pages.

This is not Puppy's fault unless something is taking a lot of your cpu.

Glad to hear you're enjoying Puppy,
Jason
