Hi... This is something I've noticed on 3 different instances of Firefox v2.0.0.3 running under Xfce on Puppy v2.14...
When I click Edit --> Preferences, and the Preferences window appears, there are a few icons across the top labeled, Main, Tabs, Content, Feeds, Privacy, Security, and Advanced.
The "Content" icon is non-functional, meaning it doesn't change the screen or do anything at all. On two other similar installations (different hardware, but same version of Puppy, Xfce, and Firefox) I have noticed the same thing, although it's not always the "Content" icon. Sometimes it's a different one, or two of them won't work.
Anybody seen this or know what to do about it? Is it a known bug?
Thanks,
~jp
Firefox "Preferences" problem...can't click on "Content"
Works fine in my install of Firefox 2.0.0.3 to a full-HD install of Puppy v2.11. Have you checked the Firefox site for related bug reports?

Yeah, didn't find anything though... It appears to be random. If I reboot, sometimes it works, or another icon becomes useless.alienjeff wrote:Works fine in my install of Firefox 2.0.0.3 to a full-HD install of Puppy v2.11. Have you checked the Firefox site for related bug reports?
Also, I noticed that FF isn't saving my config settings, like the home page.
