Can't run program compiled in Mandriva: missing library

#1 Post by Quasar »

Hey everybody, I tried writing a program on mandriva linux and then after compiling and making the binary, i moved it to puppy to run it, but it wouldn't run, it said there is a missing library or something, is there any standard library set or something i should add to puppy so as to run any needed program?

Yes, it is now recommended that you compile from within Puppy, then you will know it is going to work (else it would not have compiled, most likely).

Early next week, like about Tuesday -- um, that will be 23rd I think -- I will upload the improved usr_devx.sfs file and matching Puppy 1.0.5alpha2 live-cd. See announcements on the News page.
