Subject description: I could not find my hp Color laser jet 2600N on list, nor the 820CSE, etc..		  
My first goal is to get this to work, but I would also like to learn the how to of getting into the linux kernel and learning how to do this myself.

What version of Puppy are you using?

If you are setting the printer up with CUPS, the 820cse uses the same drivers as the 820.

I hope this helps.
