X-JWM wierdness

#1 Post by JohnMc »

Here's an odd one.

I am using Puppy 2.15CE liveCD & pup on a T40 laptop that also has Win on it. Been working just fine till today for some reason the X server burped. I rebooted and Puppy comes back up. But the JWM menu looks like the old 2.10CE version as well as the task tray.

Does anybody know a way to bring back the default 2.15CE JWM environment?

Thanks!!

Try opening a terminal and running "fixmenus", then restarting JWM (or X).

Hmm. Tried the 'fixmenus' but same result. It's like puppy is pulling up the old .jwmrc file and using it.

any way I can copy the .jwmrc fill off the CD and place in in lieu of the existing file. Think that might work??
