How to Make the mouse pointer bigger ?

First question is How to Make the mouse poniter bigger ?

Had a bit of a search didnt find howto
please put me in the right direction

Also can you change pointers ?

What Im trying to change is the "finger pointer" you get when you roll over a URL link. Id just rather have the cursor arrow all the time.

thx for the post.
unfortunately for me the cursor selector did not work..perhaps it's something to do with Ezpup ?! not sure..selecting a different cursor theme has no effect after restarting X

Sorry about that, it has been a while and I forgot that there is a fix for that problem... Try this:
To fix cursor select:
Run cursor select, choose the cursor you want , and restart X
Navigate to folder: /usr/x11r7/lib and start console (rvxt)
Key in: ln -s libXcursor.so.1 libXcursor.so and restart X
