On a serious note, puppylinuxw, 2.14 to 2.16 all have their own particular bugs, but also have some very worthy improvements over time. The latest 2.16.1 seems solid enough - you could always wait awhile and get 2.17.

To answer your original question, I would suggest 2.16.1 (as the core) is the most stable and then adding these
