Hard Drive Space Problem! |

Alright, so I got everything running correctly in puppylinux except that once I downloaded ~400 mb of stuff it said I had no more HD space! I have no idea what the problem here is, because I have an 18 GB hard drive.

Open rxvt and type
df -h
How much available space does Linux think you have?

what I suspect you did was download the 400 mb files to the pup001 virtual file system, which is only 256 mb, by default

Installing Puppy to its own partition will solve that. Use type 2 install. See the link below.
Or if your hard disk is FAT (DOS), just resize the pup001 file - you can see the resize option in the Puppy command links. If your system is NTFS, look here.

Puppy is in its own partition.... and its a Linux partition.
