list of successful apps

#1 Post by syzygy »

am rusty on my c & make but i've been playing around with compiling diiferent things for puppy, & had some hits & misses.

pavuk, htmldoc & gsoko work no probs, but was curious if we have, or need, a list of apps & games that have been successfully puppified, so that we don't cover ground already ploughed.

(i hope in posting this that i'm not reploughing something already discussed! getting paranoid!)

A list of successfully puppified apps and games would be nice, for sure, but what do what you mean by "successfully?" What works for the developer doesn't always work for everyone (or anyone) else. :)

Another problem is that people don't always report that something doesn't work for them. I hate to do it myself if all I can say is it won't work. Rather than get involved in a lengthy back-and-forth which puts a strain on my limited understanding of Linux and ability to communicate, I just let it go. :(
