Xmacro Sub_title: MU and Lobster might be able to help |
|
I've noticed that MU and Lobster seem to like macro programs and other programs that can automate the annoying tasks of a user. That's super cool. However, I've still got one problem I've been going after for a while.
How does a person install Xmacro from the tar.gz?
Does anyone know?
It's got some kind of makefile, but I've never been able to figure out how it's exactly installed. I've read some tutorials on makefiles, too. None of that ./configure stuff worked.

I packaged the sourcefolder together with the binaries, as examples and helpfiles are included for this console-application.
You might want to copy the binaries to /usr/local/bin/
They could be compiled by typing "make".
But for that you need the "devx" addon, that includes the compiler..
