And there it halts nothing happens
I am working on a Laptop Type Dell inspiron 8100 (pentium III, 100 Mhz, 256 Mb Ram, 20 Gb HDD. and a combined CD-RW and DVD player.
Image is the latest ISO i downloaded yesterday from the Puppy site Distro 1.04). Laptop normally functions under Windows XP without any hardware problem.
Does anybody have a solution. I am sorry but i have no Linux knowhow yet. Trying to learn.
Greetings Wim

Can you try the LiveCD on another computer?
Verifying whether it's the disk or the pc that has the problem would help immensely.
