Hi

I've got a MS USB Optical Intellimouse and I'd like to get the side buttons working to go forward and back in Mozilla. I know how to do this with xorg.conf and imwheel in other distros, but I'm not sure how to set it up in Puppy. Can anybody help me out?

i haven't tried it, but you can try editing /etc/mousebuttons and changing 5 to 7 or whatever

you may need to change the order of the mouse buttons using xmodmap ... for example, this will swap buttons 6 and 7

xmodmap -e 'pointer = 1 2 3 4 5 7 6'

put the xmodmap line in /root/.xinitrc
