I found the russian po files to gxine and some other programmes( or i can make from originals( thanks wow for the link on the spanish thread!)
but I don't know where to put them
maybe anyone of the experienced Localizators can give an advice

First you have to convert your *.po files in *.mo files, for instance with poedit under Windows.

For gxine.mo, the target directory to put it is the following :
/usr/local/share/locale/ru/LC_MESSAGES
