Non-standard 1024X600 screen supported?

#1 Post by HitRSS »

Hi!

Just intalled the Puppy on my wife's Ultra-small Fujitsu p1120 and it works so fast (though it's a transmeta processor)!

What I would need now is to change the screen resolution from 800x600 to the native 1024x600 which is not really a standard and there is no option from the ones prepared for puppy...

Can I custom-edit it somewhere or do anything else to change the screen resolution to support this small wide-screen?

I guess it should be easy, but any hint would be appreciated.

Thanks Barry for such a speedy distro!

There's a thread somewhere about a similar request. Don't know if it ever got resolved though. I'll have a hunt around and see if I can find it.

Thanks!

I downloaded the Xfree puppy from BladeRunner and will see how far I'll go with this...

Not only wish I install the native screen but also TouchScreen functionality :-)

Let's see if I can get it going...
