props
As I don't know how widespread any given idiom travels, I'm not sure how many of you know that "props" is shorthand for a decade-old U.S. phrase, "proper respect". So, I'm giving a shout-out. I just find it pretty amazing that a project which clearly dominates a field nobody else defined very well, is still at a stage where some poor schmuck in Pennsylvania, U.S. can get the more or less immediate attention of major contributors in exchange for nothing more than looking long enough to recognize some of the goodness to be had. My 3-day-old boy in my right arm agrees, and requests only a left-handed keyboard to make the job complete.
So thanks to all you long-armed helpers.
