Blurry Text?

Running Puppy on my lovely Dell Dimension 3100 with a gig of RAM and three HDD's. It's like using a supercomputer but I have some questions...

The text on my browser is 'blurry'. I'm used to conventional text which hasn't been softened and it's making my eyes ache. I've looked, but I can't find a setting, and I prefer my text to be 'rigid', no softening please.

Any suggestions?

Display is 1280 x 1024. Standard graphics card. Running EZPup IceWM and that's about it!
