Developer release to include fewer BusyBox apps (eg. mktemp)

#1 Post by flavour »

Developers tend to need fuller versions of the various apps & one of the things I like about Puppy is the usr_devx.sfs with 1.0.5alpha2.
Can some of the apps in this version have full versions replace busybox?
1st one I've needed so far is mktemp - this is only 7k when stripped :)
(I need the -d option for the Mozilla build)

Thanks,
F

PS I knwo that there's a danger that user scripts will then have incompatibilities due to missing options being used, but testing should clear these up quickly...
