This will refresh Gaim/Pidgin buddy list when using Gaim/Pidgin on different or same OS and the buddy entries dont match.

close Gaim/Pidgin first!

for linux, delete blist.xml

gaim: /root/.gaim/blist.xml
pidgin: /root/.purple/blist.xml

----------------------------------------------------
for windows:
logon to windows, then go to:

gaim:
Start -> Run -> type %appdata% press enter, click on .gaim, and delete blist.xml

pidgin:
Start -> Run -> type %appdata% press enter, click on .purple, and delete blist.xml
----------------------------------------------------

now start Gaim/Pidgin and the buddie list will update with current entries.
